One person, many small Mac apps.

Hit the Deck Software is an independent studio run by Mark Delfs. It makes focused, native Mac apps: a desktop module engine, a ticker, radio and TV players, a browser, a clipboard scrapbook and a few odd utilities.

Every app is written in Swift with SwiftUI and AppKit, signed with a Developer ID, notarized by Apple and updated through Sparkle. Releases and update feeds are public on GitHub.

The name

Hit the deck: get down, get moving, get to work. The three stacked slabs with their red, yellow and green lights are a nod to the Mac window controls and the decks of a classic music library.
